By way of a simple example where the developers are disconnected from the reality of the project they are coding - I worked on the original London Congestion Charging Scheme and went through the forms I was developing with the Indian programmers. They had a detailed specification and then it dawned on me - they had no knowledge of the topic they were coding. They had no idea why a charge would be made for vehicles entering central London. But fundamentally they had no idea what a postcode was for an address.

AI will never understand what an address is let alone a postcode. But fundamentally it will also never understand what a human is let alone any parts that make them human.
