Coders would need to find the obscure languages that AI doesn't see. I can remember working at Ferranti finding an Algol pogrammer made them like gold dust. Nobody knew whether they were any good or how long it took to code in Algol. Though they would be hopeless in say Visual Basic - it would be beyond their ability to learn it over the weekend as I had to do. But if people go back even further to Autocode - AI doesn't seem to have that vocabulary but does know about it. At Ferranti I was the hobby coder whose work they took to a military show on a computer whereas the 'proper' coder had a brochure to show his submarine system I had imitated in my lunch hours.
So humans may have to become the museum machine coders to get high salaries.
