NOTE: THE POLICE AMENDED THEIR API CODE SO THIS STOPPED WORKING 2023. BUT I AM FIXING IT 2024.

I was experimenting with Bing Chat on Ms Edge (Canary build) and getting it to build an app to output recent stop and search data by postcode into a Google Sheet.

To get it to run:
1. Click on the Custom menu (when it appears, after a long wait)
2. Click Get Stop and Search data.
3. Input a postcode, then click submit
4. Wait for it to complete.

To test it you can use your own postcode or for example, the University of Northampton postcode is NN1 5PH.

To amend the code it can be pasted back into Bing Chat and asked to add functions from the police data api. If it has errors Bing Chat will resolve them, if you paste and explain it is an error. It usually provides a new version of the full code or you might have to ask for it.

The present code is also pasted into the Google sheet — Code.

This Google sheet can be shared with anyone.
